FightCircle
Privacy
FightCircle stores what you put on your profile and the fight data you submit, plus the essentials to run your account (email, sign-in session). This page explains the one extra thing the public site does: personalising the homepage and counting visits.
Personalising the homepage and counting visits
What is stored
If you answer “What brings you to FightCircle?” on the home page, we store that one role value (for example fighter_amateur) in a cookie named fc_seg on this device. If you later join, your choice is also saved on your account so the site stays arranged for you.
What it is for
It only rearranges the home page — the headline, the order of sections and which module sits on top. It never changes what you can see or do, and it plays no part in roles, verification, claims or rankings.
How long it lasts and how to clear it
The cookie lives for 6 months. Clear it anytime from the home page: open Change (or “Personalise this page”) and tap “Clear my answer” — or delete the cookie in your browser.
Counting visits
We count a few things first-party to understand what works: a page was viewed, the card was answered or skipped, a hero button was tapped, a sign-up finished. These counts store no name, no account, no IP address and no device ID — just the event, rough context (for example “mobile” or “desktop”) and the role answer if you gave one. No third-party analytics or advertising tags run on FightCircle.
Your account data
You can export everything tied to your account, or delete the account, from Settings.
